Worked example: four years, receipted
Suppose you are making an anniversary card after four years together. Two lines can be genuinely
computed: nights sharing a bed ≈ 365 × 4 = 1,460, and date nights at roughly two a
week ≈ 52 × 2 = 104 per year. Enter those as x1,460 and
x104 — with the leading x they stay text, so the card reads as counts rather
than currency:

With no numeric prices at all, the total is the whole story chained with plus signs — 46 characters,
so it drops below TOTAL and wraps onto two lines without ever breaking a word. If you prefer a real
number at the bottom, price one line numerically — FLOWERS BOUGHT — 38 — and the total
becomes 38 + x104 + …, which looks like the world's best deal.
