What to expect

This site is maintained by one person alongside other work. Replies usually take a few business days, and occasionally longer. Bug reports about the card rendering incorrectly get priority over feature requests.

Useful things to include

• The page you were on and which preset was loaded.
• The exact text you typed into the label and price boxes, if a line wrapped or aligned oddly — the layout is a fixed 32-character column, so edge cases usually involve very long words or very long prices.
• Your browser and whether you were on a phone or desktop, for export or download problems.
• Which export you used: the 1080×1920 story or the 1080×1080 square.

Preset and line-item ideas

Suggestions are welcome. The presets that work best are specific rather than generic — a line like "TALKED ME OUT OF BANGS" earns its place, "GOOD TIMES" does not. If you have an occasion the six current presets do not cover, say which lines you would put on it.

What we cannot help with

We cannot help make a card look like a real store receipt. Requests for store logos, merchant names, tax breakdowns, authorization codes, scannable barcodes or removal of the parody watermark will not be actioned, regardless of the stated reason. The about page explains why that is a design decision rather than a missing feature: cards from Receipt Card Maker are entertainment, not proof of purchase, and are not valid for returns, refunds or expense claims.

We also cannot recover a card for you. Nothing you type is uploaded or saved on our side, so once you close the tab the only copy is the PNG you downloaded.
